VOTE

// general election · 16 DAYS out

+========================================================================+

Three things, in this order: check your registration, find your polling place, and make a plan — the day, the time, the ride, the ID your state asks for. Early and mail voting are already open in much of the country, so the plan does not have to be Election Day.

Every link below goes to a state or District election office — no aggregators, no campaigns, no parties. If your state is slow or the lookup is down, vote.gov is the federal fallback: The federal government's voter hub — registration, deadlines, and state contacts in one place.

> notes

Where a jurisdiction has no separate page for one of the three links, it points at that office’s own elections page instead. Those cases are listed here.

  • ★ Alabama — One VoterView lookup answers both the polling-place and registration-status questions.
  • ★ Arkansas — VoterView is the Secretary of State's own lookup, served from its ar-nova.org service domain rather than sos.arkansas.gov.
  • ★ Colorado — GoVoteColorado returns voting locations, drop boxes and registration status from one search.
  • ★ Delaware — The iVote portal covers both polling place and registration status.
  • ★ Georgia — All three — polling place, registration status and absentee ballot requests — run through the single My Voter Page portal.
  • ★ Hawaii — Hawaii runs elections by mail statewide; the Office of Elections voting page covers both voter service centers and mail ballots.
  • ★ Kansas — Polling-place and advance-voting details are published on the Secretary of State's voter information page, which links the VoterView lookup.
  • ★ Kentucky — Kentucky's voter portals open on a State Board of Elections acceptable-use notice before the lookup form.
  • ★ Maine — Maine has no statewide polling-place lookup — voters confirm theirs with their municipal clerk, listed on the Secretary of State's clerk directory.
  • ★ Michigan — The Voter Information Center returns polling place and registration status from the same lookup.
  • ★ Montana — My Voter Page covers polling place and registration status in one lookup.
  • ★ Nevada — The state voter search returns polling place and registration status together.
  • ★ New Mexico — The Voter Information Portal answers the polling-place and registration-status questions from one search.
  • ★ New York — The state voter lookup returns poll site and registration status together.
  • ★ North Dakota — North Dakota has no voter registration, so the Secretary of State's elections page stands in for a registration-status lookup.
  • ★ Oregon — Oregon votes by mail statewide; the polling-place link is the official ballot drop-box locator.
  • ★ South Dakota — The Voter Information Portal covers polling place and registration status from one login.
  • ★ Tennessee — The state voter lookup returns polling place and registration status together.
  • ★ Texas — Texas's My Voter Portal status lookup sits on a state vendor domain rather than a .gov host, so the registration link is the VoteTexas page that opens it.
  • ★ Vermont — My Voter Page covers polling place and registration status in one lookup.
  • ★ Washington — Washington votes by mail statewide; VoteWA returns drop-box and voting-center locations alongside registration status.
  • ★ Wyoming — Wyoming has no statewide online registration-status lookup; the Secretary of State's registration page lists county clerk contacts.
